Just took the Dart into town and had lunch followed by a pint in Temple Bar; it feels a million miles from Kerry!
We chose to go clockwise because the prevailing winds were more likely to be in our favour and we will spend more time on the West coast aof uk/Scotland s it is more attractive. The West coast of Ireland is for a further trip probably on Persis who is probably sulking in Reenkilla right now! Hope all well with you and yours, David.

I’ve been following your trip with interest from Florida.I wish we could swap some of your badly needed rain for our sun.I’m wondering will you go cloickwise around Ireland or what would determine that, ocean currents maybe ? You’ll have to excuse my ignorance but I’m on my way out to purchase a copy of “Sailing for dummies” if I’m to keep up with this trip. She’s a beautiful boat. They call them blowboats over here.Break a leg or Godspeed or safe sailing or whatever they say in sailing circles ,I’ll be more informed after a weekend of reading and highlighting key words and hopefully a city victory on Sunday morning.
Take care for now,
Dan.
