May 27 Oban to Loch A Choire
By Joe Barrett | May 27, 2012
We set out from Oban on a short trip (15nm) to Loch A Chorie – a small Loch at the south end of Loch Linnhe. David had a recommendation for a restuarant called The Boathouse at the head of the Loch in a place callled Kingairloch. There are six mooring buoys owned by the restaurant and we picked one of these up for the night.
We had dinner in The Boathouse – seafood and real vegtables from the estate – and it did not disappoint. The views and the food were great. Highly recommended.

Tomorrow we head for Tobermory on the north east side of Mull. A more respectable 40nm. It’s an early start again – 06:00 to catch the tide.
